Dennis and Denise Kaufman
Dr. Kaufman and his wife, Denise, are on staff at Necole's Place, an inner city community center associated with a Womans Choice Resource Center, offering a number of life skills and training opportunities to help young women and their families improve their quality of life. Dennis Kaufman has seen first hand at the center the need for a facility such as the one we are striving to build.
Dr. Kaufman has over twenty-five years experience as a pastor and pastoral counselor, including extensive teaching experience in such areas as family dynamics, relational skills, anger management and addictions. His work background includes pastoral roles, executive directorship of a large community-counseling center and providing therapy in a private practice setting. Dennis is in private practice at Kassel and Associates where he serves as Pastoral Counselor. For thirteen years he served as Counseling Minister at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY and for nine years he served as Senior Pastor at Kentucky Avenue Church of Christ while doing his graduate work to specialize as a pastoral counselor.
